re -ran the program in 32bit as wife did it 64 1st and got some back. Then had a look in winrar/winzip ? back up and found some of my old stuff which was nice so i can transfer that stuff i guess.

good news................i trawled through the recycle bin as wife had gone on a frenzy of deletion.........and found she had deleted the main'pictures' folder........so restored it and got everything (i think ) back

PHEW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm so glad i set my CCleaner NOT to empty the recycle bin

Great. Nw back them ALL up onto cd's and maybe another storage hard drive aswell. More than one place. Or if you cant do that just direct copy the folder to another less used location.
I have used a program called data doctor recovery with some success before.
