why enter a competition to win a road bike you numpty!!! Geez!

That was exactly my thought when I first saw it listed.

I know there are loads of people who enter competitions and then sell the prize, but something this valuable is a bit different.

And £10K with a reserve is just making a hard job more difficult.

Anyone else spot the £45,000 retracted bid!

I don't give a rats arse who's it is/was/might have been...
that bike is FUGLY!

It was born at the top of the fugly tree, fell out, and hit EVERY fugly branch on the way down

Why the knocking? The man might actually NEED the money - 10 grand is a lot to many folk. I LIKE bikes and ride them, but if I'd won that then I'd have had no real choice but to sell it. To keep it would be simply unfair to my family.

I like how the bidding starts at £10,000 but he still has a reserve.

Chances are the reserve is sky high so he can find out approximate worth.
Face it guys ,for all the talk here we'd all have this up on ebay at a moments notice :?
People cant hold on to a built bike 3 weeks after completion without splitting it for sale let alone a £10G+ historic freebie

I think the fly in his ointment is that Team Sky are currently selling off the team bikes they no longer need, at between £2400 and £3000.

They are minus pedals and wheels in some cases, but even so, that's still and extra £5k just for a BW sticker.
