I have heard that there's enough tubes for building around 10 C26 ;)

I was told that there are more top tubes and down tubes, but that there are no more seat tubes... who knows

A bearing to support bullseye cranks would need a 34.9mm OD and and a 22mm ID

Should that not be 22.2mm ID as the axle is imperial 7/8". I had to turn an axle down to 22mm so I could use a modern BMX BB with a 22mm ID.

Yes, you are correct.

22.225mm are 7/8" for the correctness

Hi Martin, now I found your C-26 Thread. I'm the man with the tires you wanted :D

Cheers,
Michael

How get you out the .225 of the bearing inner ring? The idea isn't new, but I don't know how can I do it. My man at the lathe said, he don't can clamp in it and the bearing material is harder than the chisel.

You have to handsand the Bullseye crank axel down to 22mm bit by bit till they fit the bb bearing. It took me 1-2 hours of sanding. Then you can choose any kind of euro BMX bottom brackets :)

So cool !
But do these cups fit on classic MTB BB thread ?

Euro BB's are ISO threaded and made for 63mm BB houses. The cool bb I got have two bearings on each side makin a better BB than the original and many BB today.

So that bottom bracket is not in production.

But you can get just the outboard cups that will fit a Bullseye crank. They can be had in black and so do not stand out that much, but they are not correct if you are trying to stick with an all vintage build.

I can't find a photo but they look just like the ones in the photo above.
