yep she's coming on better than i expected, just wish i could get a leather brooks saddle for her.

will keep searching, but for now the avocet that was on her will do for now.

Your doing a brilliant job and a nice Brooks will be perfect.....

but.....

those wheels and skewers :facepalm:

Its crying out for large flange hubs and polished alloy rims :)

Just my two penneth ;)
 
these wheels are temporary.

The original ones are now stripped down and cleaned, unfortunately the rims are badly pitted, but the hubs and spokes are good, so i'm on the look out for a pair of 27 x 1 1/4 rims (cant remember if they are 32 or 36 hole).
 
I think I have a pair of Weinmann Alloy 27" x 1 1/4" if your interested, I'd have to check out how many holes :)
