You do realise that Mercedes and others use CF for driveshafts these days?

If CF components can take the huge torque that a 6 litre V8 can put out, I'm sure they can handle the demands of even the most powerful cyclist.

Did I see Rolls saddles on some of the track bikes? I have a Rolls saddle too - does that make me an Olympic rider too? just like the XR3i badge on my old 1.1 Escort?
 
6.8KG seems a lot :) is there a weight limit.

The Raleigh Reps brought around parts for the Peter Post led attack at the Hour record by Raleigh back in the 70's........magnesium and weighed not a lot LOL
