Cheers Graeme, I'll see how it goes next week with the new bike and take it from there. 100 miles and 2400m of climbing possibly pushing it a bit.

Don't know what's on yet but I'll be there.

Gmac, I've subscribed my entry to G. 100, hope I'll find you there.

i believe there's less climbing in glasgow 100, that the reason we switched from the laidlaw :) it's one of my mate first 100 and he was a bit unsure of the laidlaw. tbh i'm a bit unsure myself

radek, think we'll be heading off late around 9am as one of my lot is marshalling the car park or some good deed for a free ride

so whats the choice of bike for this ?
80's ridgid ?, 90's ht or full suss ?

just deciding what to get ready for it ,kinda want to bring 80's rollercan
nonsense , but might bring early full suss

I'll be taking the RTS2 if I get a chain , if not it'll be the 'dale F700.

Doesn't seem to be many folk showing an interest so far .....

I'm going 2000's rigid. It's all I've got with front bounce just now.

That'll be a 'Hard Tail' then ................... bloody youngsters

Err, that's what I meant. I was thinking as I typed, never a good idea. I meant to type hardtail as my other working bike is rigid and it got all mixed up.

In my defence I've worked over 60 hours this week already, don't finish until late tonight and I'm in tomorrow again.

Bloody skint though and sitting on a pile of overtime I don't get until next week :x
