1983 Specialized Stumpjumper - build thread

....and what happened with the note on the unused bike? Would love to hear a good ending to that story.

Take a look at my 1982 Stumpy. It's even more beautifull than his one!

That's just the way the geometry was in those days. And they did use them on technical trails. You just have to get used to it! ;)

You are right. It's gorgeous! :) I really like the fork and the color. Starting to see what the fuzz is all about...

Who made these frames? In 1982 I guess they were hand built?
