I have found Parcelforce to be alot cheaper when paying through Paypal,
£14.99 at the post office but £10.99 through paypal for a 7.5kg on 48hr delivery.
Parcelforce is only really useful when the item is too big to take to the post office (as they collect) or you need extra compensation (although special delivery is an option here).
