Bored - need a new hobby.

Returning to the RC lark, what about aircraft? I had a friend who flew aircraft and helicopters, but what I enjoyed most of all was his RC gliders, good fun and very relaxing.
Or come to that how about learning to glide, must be places around you.
 
I want to build an impulse jet engine to mount on a blackburn rack for giggles and a novel way of getting to work (on my private roads of course ;) )
I vote for the retro rc tamiya. I had a hornet bitd and just sold my mad bull, they are a great laugh and not too expensive
