Hinault turbo saddle, clincher tyres & rims

What width are the tyres ? You forgot to put that bit down  they did those tyres in 20mm - 23mm - 25mm - 28mm.

Your rims look like the old Araya MKII aero rims.

23c I thought the pic was clearer
The rims are really nice, although branded trek (luckily in VERY small letters!) they look very retro and weigh a not unreasonable 425grms each.

Thanks for replying matey. I thought you weren't gunna reply...lol

Nah just horribly busy with work :x

Today though I got a jan/feb '84 issue of the USA 'bicycling' mag through the door I won on ebay, low and behold there was an ad for the rims in there. Seems the manufacturer is matrix and the rim is a iso-c. The trek decal on them probably meant these particular rims were destined for a trek bike back in the day but matrix made quality rims to be retro fitted to any bike. Wish I'd removed the trek decals before I listed them
