My friend dropped by this weekend, and brought his bike with him. It is a Ravell. Never seen these before. He bought it new, some 20 or more years ago, mail order!
It seems to be a well spec'd tourer (Suntour rear mech and levers, shimano F/M, 531st, all original), with a lazy steering angle, which allowed him to ride without hands for a lot of our ride. He nearly fell off when he tried it on my Raleigh
I am trying to get him to give it a bit of a clean and polish, to save the chrome etc, but he is a bit resistant :roll:
Anyone else come across this make before?
