I saw a Sierra the other day. It is very easy to forget how radical the design was. My pops had a red estate, he always kept a Ford estate for shopping trips, my favourite was a Granada Ghia. Haven't been in one for a long time, I wonder if they are as big as I remember.

My father-in-law had an "F" reg Granada 2.9 Ghia owned from new up until last year, big lumbering thing by todays standards, but acres of space in the back :)
Still got a shift on when you wanted it to though, just a shame it was an auto-box.

needs some body work and loads of interior trim missing but only cost 900 notes inc 6 months tax and a full years mot (which had 0 advisories). its the 1.9 tdi and only done 120k too! bargain.
 
My next door neighbour has recently got rid of his.....though it did have 310,000 miles!

The above was a c20let conversion with f28 gearbox. Up-rated most parts. Was 280bhp in a car that weighed 800kg's, it was fun to drive.

That decided to melt a piston ring, stripped it & bought this:

New turbo, vxr 6 speed box with quaiffe diff, inlet cam, full major servie etc & a map to 320bhp & 309lbft at 15 psi.
