Bates Brake query

It may be a strange question but just wondered if anyone knows what brakes fit a 1953 Bates BAR with standard 27" wheels - Struggling with the front brake as a GB Couerer has too long a drop - Anyone have any ideas what will fit?

Hi, I've not got a GB Coureur to reference, but I've always used the original GB Hiduminium brake for my late forties / early fifties restores, as I believe they were designed to cater for frames that could take either 27 or 26 inch wheels and have better placed, long postioning slots. The GB Sport might fit, but I think the GB Hiduminium brakes are better, despite being older. Terry
