A pretty good race. Lack of driver aids really means they have to drive the cars now, you can see it in every in car shot. Great stuff. Drivers make a difference again!
Should be a great year. Would like to see how Hamilton fares when he gets mixed up 4th/5th, and needs to make it count. He can certainly win from the front, but forcing a win from behind... :?: Great natural talent though for sure.
Glad Ralf has gone, though Trulli and Fisi should have moved on too - they had their chances and failed.

But Hamilton was on pole and won . That must have been exiting , watching him overtake some guys one or two lap behing him !!!

Quite a good opening race. BMW were quick as I thought they would be but the big surprise was Ferrari- WTF happened there??
Slightly sad that Kovalainen is going to be a passive No.2 and do as he's told at McLaren- he's too nice and should be trying to rattle Lewis's cage a little more.
Was sad that Bordais had a sick engine 3 laps from the end (a Ferrari engine remember ) He's a really nice quiet bloke and deserves to do well- long time since we've had a French superstar in F1. Impressed that he held of 2 world champions in a car that is, to be honest, a sack of shite. Toyota and Honda piss poor as usual, and Coulthard needs to get some new specs, surely saw Massa flying up on him.
All in all pretty entertaining, almost as good as Sebring the night before! Porsche 1,2 over boring Audi
