Honda NR 750
Oval pistons and 8 valves per cylinder. Total lunacy

Honda NSR 500 V4
I always loved the sound and vicious character of these little monsters. I really miss seeing them on the tracks. I'd ride mine on the road though.

The third one would be a Spondon framed Z1000 with a GSX-R 1100 engine, generally referred to as a Kawazuki.

NR 750 in the window of Preston superbikes at the mo. Wonder how much they're asking?!?

.

Ducati 748 SPS
Truimph 675 (on the shopping list)
Honda VFR750 RC30

Amazing bikes that people have owned and want but I'll never forget my Yamaha FS1-E as a teenager, also falling off my brothers Honda CB 400 cus I was too small to hold it when it stopped

I lied about falling out of a tree after getting thrown off my friend's scrambler in case I wouldn't get my one.

I guess I have the bikes I want, even if they are all needing work. I wouldn't want exotics if I could only have three. Simple mid size dually for all round and adventures. Mild custom style twin for pootling about and bike shows. Naked mid size twin for sunny days and keeping it slow.

If it was a case of not having to maintain them or store them then Vincent, Brough and MV Augusta would join the herd. Why stop at three though?

I would happily gather a hundred bikes and there would still be ones I never rode or owned I would lust after!

:)

Mk I Honda Goldwing, the original unfaired model.
A buzzy road legal 2 stroke 125cc MX replica such as a Honda MTX, Kawasaki KLX etc not bothered as to exact model just as long as it fit the genre, loved my MTX untill some bugger stole it :(
A big Scooter, full auto I think theres an 800cc sit up and beg style possibly Benelli, my current Yamaha 250 scoot is a blast but could do with slightly more go and a less feet forward ride position.

A TL1000 with a different exhaust sounds like the devil breaking wind, awesome :D

Yeah, had a set of Quill cans on mine and they sounded amazing - a lovely, deep rumble.
