The shade?

The Fork only have the Left leg empty to allow the cable to pass thru and that's it. Yeah, almost 100% serviceable, just need some stickers and time to put it on sale here :)

Not sure if as a lamp but....

I like it :idea:

you really want the v-brake to act as an on/off switch..... thinking about it, the easiest way would be to have a brake cablee operate a spring loaded switch :wink:

You clearly have too much time on your hands, too many nice bike parts to play with, but an imagination for retrobikers interior decorating :wink:

I'm thinking there is a market for polishing up used chain rings and using them for light switch surrounds, and an alternative lighting idea - tyres illuminated from within in tall stacks - you could get some groovy effects using coloured rubber if it a) let light out and b) didn't melt.

Converting thumbies for electrical switches with multiple uses might also work.

Get cracking, I want to see these ideas in the shops by the end of the week. :wink:
