Any idea what these brakes might be?

The brakes pictured below came ona complete bike and were described by the seller as Control Tech Vs. However they have no markings on them and I can't find any info.

Someone helpfully gave the following link http://www.blackbirdsf.org/brake_obscura/mtb.html but I couldn't find them there either!

Anyone know what they might be?

they are indeed control tech.some had a sticker on the noodle holder.

Being nosey - What's the bike?
(Same colour as a 95 Kilauea.)

That's it, a 95 Kilauea (or so I'm told). Rides cery nicely too.

What a spot! Welcome to Kona heaven - I have one too!
Pssst, don't listen to them all on here when they rant on about their Explosifs and Hots, the 95 Kilauea has Columbus Cyber tubing - much better, a well kept secret, and lighter too!

Just out of interest, has yours got Marzocchi XC700s on the front, and Grip Shift XRays?
I got mine from the states and it must be a later 95 model coz the 95s in the brochures all were rigid.

Thanks for the comments, my first Kona experience and partly influenced by the raving on here and elsewhere. As I said, it rides nicely but better than my P7 or Vit T? They are all sweet.

I don't think that it's particularly original. There are some better photos at 'Readers Bikes'.

It came with Marzocchi Z4s but I sold them and put some threadless P2s on instead. The wheels are also non-original and it has a ISIS Race Face chainset. The shifters are XT thumbies and the brake levers Avids. I've got the original Kona post but it is a bit short so there is a long Push (yuck) fitted.

Still, all in it cost me Â£200 with the spare seatpost, spare big ring and new spare tyres so I can't complain too much!

Any idea what these brakes might be?
