Bike stand back

I recently bought one of these: http://www.rutlandcycling.com/32634/Raleigh-Accessories-Folding-Workstand.html

It looks identical to this one: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/categ...review-xtools-workshop-prep-stand-pro-10-9175

I haven't compared it to any others, but having made do without a work stand for years I'm really pleased with it. It's lightweight, folds down small and uses quick release clamps, so it only takes a few seconds to set up and put away again. I'm sure some of the more expensive ones are beefier and more sturdy, but it seems sturdy enough and is a huge improvement on no work stand. :D

Same one as mine, and I must say it is brilliant.

I've used Park Tools ones before ,and considering this one is only £55 from Rutland Id say pound for pound its better!!!!

And as you say, its light and folds small too!! Love it.

Just need to find or make a tool tray for it now!!!!!!

:)

tempting! although i got mine from halfrauds (bikehut shop) never bothered googling it since buying it, but seems i picked this one up for a bargain at £55! it was discounted/last one left...
tiz pretty good, sturdy and the clamp is a beast :) a little unstable if one wheel is detached, but easily sorted when clamp is rotated to centre the weight and no height adjustment, but never felt it needed it....

I saw the ALDI brochure thing last night.

They have bike locks and that sort of thing going cheap. The best thing they have (in my opinion) was one of those ceiling mounted Bike Hoists at £5 if i recall. Got to be a bargain?

Just been and got mine, the Lidl in Llanelli had loads of them, about 2 pallets worth, thought they would only have a few ;)
