Well that just about it for the paint removal, just the last few bits to get of.

On the look out for some bars now.....

Well thats the paint off time for some polishing only doing the main tubes.

that does look good 'rawed'.

i did the same to an old Raleigh activator i had, came up lovely once polished and lacquered.
 
I have started with the polishing , I have spent about 2 hours just on that so far so this is going to take quite a bit of time. Any way the top tube in looking nice.

Hi mate I was thinking DX as well but at the moment I think I might try it SS :shock:

If you look at the "dawes escape" in my signature you will see I did the same thing and got good results in the end.

There is a powdercoating place near me that will dip a frame and repowdercoat for £75.00 though, so you have to ask yourself if its worth stripping by hand.

I have a customer of mine who does a frame and fork for £35 (York's based)
does a good job, choice of 5000 plus shades. £75 is pricey.
