Falcon 'Phantom'

Hey this is my first post

I have been looking at this Falcon 'Phantom' bike but cant find any info on it anywhere... (pic should be attached)

Does anyone know anything about it? Is it 531 tubing.... is it a piece of junk?

Anything would be a great help!

Can't put my finger on it but something doesn't look right.....is it a junior bike with 26" wheels?

The kit with the GT brake levers and chainset would place that in the 70's but don't remember anything from Falcon with that name (we used to Sell Falcon bikes)......... Can't imagine it is made from 531 from the picture.

Thanks, after another look its an 18" frame so I guess that would make it a junior bike!

I think what looks strange about this is the seat tube angle.
A list of components may help date it, but some will have a date stamped on them. If the levers are Weinmann there should be a code stamped on the inside of the body, and if they're original they should be the same age as the bike. I took a photo of mine which should help you out.

These ones are from Sept. 1986. The first number is the month and second is the year. Hope this helps.

pretty sure it'll be plain gauge steel, is the seatpost 25.4mm?

In a nutshell it's junk. Junior size as stated and even if it wasn't it wouldn't be the best ride heavy and unresponsive, although probably quite comfy.
