I'm not sure what year the bikes are but a good few of the hardtails had what I call the 'classic Cannondale look' i.e. fat tubes, square chainstays and Pepperoni forks in a dark metallic quality paint with a simple silver 'cannondale' on the downtube. I knew someone in the 90's who had an 1996 M700 in dark blue which I always thought looked smart and captured a lot of how a clasic MTB should look.

The hardtails that are left may well be 2000 and onward, but some of them certainly have the look of those mid-lat 90's classics.
