1994 Clark Kent Cromag - 14th September Update

.

Maybe some blue on silver Clark Kent decals for the forks?
first dibs on the stem? I've got an RM to build :D

I saw these forks pre paint - Dan is a very good builder and was so 'back in the day' too. A bit of a RB secret that one.

Thanks for the kind words, all...it was nice to do a bit of framebuilding on the side.

I'm all a bit busy with the racing wheelchairs at the moment...I've got a half done neo-retro road frame project of my own that's been 3 years in the making now....still not finished the brazing

OK for little jobs like forks, canti bosses and steerers etc., though.

All the best,

Still need to work out reach and stem height.

Sorry but you have bigger issues with the frame size than reach and stem height...

Ha.

The saddle isn't at riding height. It should be nearly 3" lower.

Frame looks small in the pic but it's a 23" TT CtoC and nearly a 20" ST

It's a perfect fit ..... Better seen in he earlier pics ;)

➡️ Peaks Ready Guise

Its been a while since I've been out on the CK but never the less its been fettled with in preparation for the Peaks ride.

The Thomson stuff just wasn't working for me so its back to the Syncros kit - I think this works better.

Things still to do ......

➡️ New headset needed
➡️ Wheel rebuild with some 717 rims

Hope she is okay in the Peaks .......

It's a beautiful bike, especially with those forks.

Blue Chris King headset? Or would it be the wrong blue to fit in?

A blue CK would be a good fit me thinks :D

I think this might have been a CK one originally fitted by Joe
