Hi, i´m from Germany and i´m new in this Forum. I just had a ZigZag and loved it an d now i took the change to get a Marin Fire Trail Frame with the original fork in good condition. As i see, you have some experiences with this model and maybe you ca tell me something about the weight of the frame. The seller told me (it will arrive in e few days..) that this Frame got some problems with oxidation at the aluminium. is this typical for marin?

I'm not sure of the weight of the frame as I've never had it fully stripped down to check, but when it's built up, it's certainly very light compared to my newer full suss Marin Mount Vision '99..
There's certainly no problems with oxidisation on mine, but I hear cracks in the head tube are things to watch out for - mine seems okay for now!
