How about a sticky on all the downright shonky goods we've bought unseen over eBay - you know what I mean... the oversold grand disappointments; the drill holes where the just shouldn't be; the scratch that's really a crack; the suspension forks that you cannot get any parts for...

Perhaps stopping short of a name and shame session (libel is for the very rich, dahling) - more a cursory warning to those who perhaps hope for more than really exists! Let's face it, who would buy a 20 year old component that's been thrashed, weakened and worn to within an inch of its life and expect it to live up to the seller's hype..??? :shock:
