Mmmh, looking forward to this build!

Nice Scans!! And I thought, the Xizang was available as frame-only except for 1999, the last year.

Almost there.........

With a new box of delights, the Team GT 1990 is almost there for me. The steel definately keep me real!

Such a great sold feel - not too much jolts on the arms and elbow which I thought may be an issue. Great design of fork takes away the arm ache.

Will be pairing the Ritchey vantage comps up soon, once I find a 32 hole shimano rear hub. On the look out for the Araya RM17's but seem quite few and far between. Got some very nice XT gear almost nos and even some shimano SP40 cables from BITD. Note the new Mt Christophe toe straps - a real nice retro find. Just looking for some decent XT pedal to replace the Tioga Surefoot 1's that don those cranks at the mo and a chainstay guard to replace the duck tape!

Awesome job absolutely love it :)

Have you had a proper off road ride on it yet?

Yes took it out for a burn tonight, got the gears tuned to perfection, solid ride, takes me back to the days of my first mtb muddy fox courier comp, the black with red web type design. Haven't ridden a good steel in years, I think I am getting back into these as long as the elbows hold out!
