scott scale 2010 38.2mm front mech advise thanks

HI GUYS bear with me here please
there are scott carbons that have a 34.9mm seatpost and also have a quick release seatpost clamp thats 38.3mm
aparently theese bikes have a clamp on 38.2mm front mech

any advise on theese 38.2mm mechs and whos used whitch type model etc and their opinions please much apreciated
i want to use one of theese front mechs on a different bike with hopefully a 9 speed casssette and a double front or maybe a triple
the bike will have 20" wheels thanks

i am trying to find out if theese bikes have a clamp on 38.3mm front mech
its for a retrofit to a comlpetely different bike
that has a very close outer diameter seatpost of 37mm
so i want to use one of theese 38.3mm clamp on front mech bands if thats possible

thanks very much please advise if you know of any 38mm round band front mechs thanks

Newer 2011 onwards Scott Scales have a 34.9 Front Mech, earlier were 38.2 which only SRAM do in the XX model, most Scott's prior to 2011 used the E type BB mounted mech to get round this.
