1991 Klein Adroit 19" Backfire Ultra Heavy DONE

Its quite refreshing to see Klein with different color of fork and stem.
Leave it as it is (for now at least  )

hi
i 've a klein attittude and i would like to change the bottom bracket
thanks for your answer

mike

DIY way is screw a crank bolt into the spindle and knock through with a hammer, hopefully the bearing & spindle drop out, i did it earlier on this frame.

To install, a little bit more harder.......

Yep, managed to DIY my own Klein BB this way - also managed to install with a wooden mallet and was surprised how accurately I was able to align it. Hopefully won't need doing again for a few years though - it did make me a bit nervous...

Also really nice to see another black Klein - mine was black for many years until the paint got so tatty it had to come off.

Here's my black one, edit, now in Germany with Steve AKA Woodyuk, my Backfire and the other is my mates coral, which I have now.

Re: 91/92 Klein Adroit BIG PROJECT!

Been collecting parts for a while now for this puppy, got full NOS Campy Centaur in graphite finish, including wheels with Atek rims, booted with NOS Ground Controls. NOS Grab On MTN-2 grips, NOS original Flite and a NOS 27.2mm x 425 Syncros Hardcore post (not pictured).

Just waiting for the front mech and then all I need is the fuselage.
