Pedalberg

Retro Newbie
Hi all,

I have recently opened a new shop in Cambridge. We are a Kona Specialist Shop but also do spares, repairs, custom builds, wheel builds and more.

We also specialize in Gravity Enduro, 29ers and endurance racing.

We also ride/race most forms of bicycle or event types and are always looking to interact with like minded people.

I am a fully qualified mechanic and frame builder (can not do frame repairs on site but contact for me more details)

We have a chill out area in the shop with couch and TV, we regularly have bike dvd nights and chill out sessions. A local brewer and good friend may provide some "light refreshment" from time to time.

Will try add some photos soon.

My website is still under construction but will be online soon. We are on facebook so search "Pedalberg" or come visit us at:

If by free advertising you mean providing information to your users of where they can find a friendly, professional bike shop with a little more to it then run of the mill. Then surely the benefits are mutual.

I aint in this for the money, I do it because I love bikes and have a passion for the industry and sport.

My young family needs a roof and food so why not do something I love and hope that people support it as long as I have been supporting the industry.

Good on you mate, I'd much rather support people like you than pump money into the ChainReaction/Wiggle/etc machine. Its such a shame that some people value 'discount' over a friendly, passionate LBS like it sounds like you're trying to provide. I wish you the very best success in your new venture and will certainly pop in and buy something if I'm ever in the area! I wish there were more people brave enough to do what you're doing!

Cheers for the support, Stop by even if its for a tea or coffee and just lounge about and talk bikes.

Spent the afternoon in the shop with the guys today.

The service is fantastic, as is the ambience.

Very reasonable prices and a guy who absolutely knows his onions.

He had my Whyte apart and all sorted in an hour and had a lovely Santa Cruz Mk 1 V10 waiting for some TLC.

Got some lovely bikes too, if your anywhere near Cambridge pop in and say hello, we need to be supporting a proper LBS.

Welcome to the site and good luck with the new shop.

It would've been courteous to ask about posting an advert for your shop before jumping in and doing so. Much as your shop relies on retail sales to survive this site relies on advertising to survive.
