new be strange clicking niose from my bottom bracket

. just need to get my specialized hardrock back of my brother so i can get off the beaten track again 
i have a noisy seat post/saddle.given up taking it apart a cleaning it. should maybe just lose some weight...
it could be that the seatpost isn't tightened up enough/isn't the correct size (it is from Halfords after all)
mine gives me no end of complaints, but i am using a seat post with a shim, which (depending on the climate) moans all the bloody way to work and back.
my crank also moans all the bloody time.
i think my bike may have been Victor Meldrew in a previous life......

check that the f.mech cable crimp end isn't tappinp on something each time the peddles go round.sounds silly but elimiate the easy ones 1st
