right i cannot find any fork protectors for my stratos s8 forks so the only thing to do is make some. anybody have any ideas on what to make them out of? or has anybody made some for other forks that worked well? suggestions welcome. :D

now i'm just going on a few googled pics here, but they look like they bolt on?

if so, the shape looks simple enough to cut out from some thick (but flexible) sheet plastic and then bolt through pre cut/correctly positioned holes...???
what are the original ones made from?

just looking at my forks and theres no where to bolt them on to :? and i think the original ones where made out of tough plastic.

i was looking at these forks:

are these the same as yours???

i initially thought zip ties, but saw that pic i posted and thought bolting through a pilot hole to the original mounts would do a good job.....
if you don't have them, that would be a good idea (jubilee clips - as these are easier to mount/tighten/remove etc...)

don't neoprene sleeves exist for these?

piping and jubilee clips it is then :D cheers for the halp guys

Big eck doesnt have any spare.

I think he told me to go the piping route also but was looking at motorcross guards on ebay.
Cant remember which but there are a few variations of fitting which may be of help.
