Sorry for digging an old thread.
I really like what you did there. Does anyone have an idea what other Kona frames have enough clearance for 650B wheels? Some of them seem to have very limited space between chainstays. I am looking for something designed for 80mm forks, so perhaps from early 90's.

They have to be a 18" or bigger. If you can find a 2.0 or smaller tire a smaller frame may work.

Thanks, I would need 20in frame so that's not a problem. Are there any particular models to avoid?

not that I know of. If you search "650b conversion" on google there are about 5-8 websites dedicated to it.
Most have list of frames but most of the frames are 98 forward.
