Anyhow the tablet arrived end of last week, initial impressions are very favourable. Few inital thoughts
-The tablet is thin and light and not far off the form factor of an ipad.
-Seems to have plenty of power, able to watch HD content off youtube with a good internet connection as well as stream blu-ray quality 1080p mkvs off the internal SD card.
-Tried a few graphic heavy games which all run fine.
-Battery seems to last well enough.
-Installed version of ICS seems pretty good and stock, no real bloat, just a few chinese apps.
-Screen is nice and crisp. Not ipad3 retina burner for sure but heaps better than some I'd seen.
-Front and back camera for skype and all that.
-Can add an extra 32GB storage via a micro SD.
-No GPS or internal 3G.
-Large chinese n90 logo on the back. I like this, you may not!
-Comes with a generic case.
Basically seems to mostly juts work. Not bothered rooting it because no need as yet. Clearly not ipad quality in build etc. but far far better than the archos stuff and similar in Currys. Also far quicker being a newer dual core chipset than the current crop of budget / midrange android tablet available on amazon / ebay. Only drawbacks so far is the SD card door isn't that secure and the power adapter supplied was an EU one.
