What's the score with the wife and kids coming to watch, do they have to pay if the weather is crap and they don't want to camp?

Also got my hands on 100 bottles of Lucozade sport ;)

is that 10 each ? we will be stopping every 200 meters for a pee :D

Have as many as you want, as long as you leave me 50 bottles for each lap ;)

Your pasty fit Dave , it goes along way

Are cheerers on allowed - I'm not riding this year you'll be relieved to hear ( one less obstacle on the course) but we may well be down with the camper. Was planning on sending Adrian to set up camp Friday and coming with the car after work on Friday. However my son and friends are riding so we may need to camp with them!

hi folks!.....after a while off the radar, time to let you know where im at!......as some of you will know, i have been suffering on and off problems with my right knee over really the past two years, but more regularly during the past 6 months.....without warning and without much prompt the ligament running under the kneecap swells and leaves my right leg unable to bend....it hurts like hell and lasts about 14 to 20 days before going and leaving my leg as strong as it was before!......its hugely frustrating as i still feel 21 in my head and i dont deserve this, the thought of pedalling a bike when its here leaves tears in my eyes though!!! :x .....yesterday i decided to seek profesional help and i went to a specialist. he did say it may hurt when he forced a finger into my knee, to say i threw my head back in a silent scream would be to underplay it though!....he diagnosed my condition with a latin name and showed me the issue on a plastic knee in his cupboard, which made perfect sense.....the condition would appear to be a form of repetetive strain from twisting my leg getting in and out of a car 30 times a day, he smiled wryly as he told me what i really need is 3 weeks off work with my leg elevated on the sofa, and he gave me some elephant strength pain killer/anti inflammatory tablets....nurofen 'with attitude' he described them as.....i have been on them for the past 24 hours and things feel better already, the biggest problem now being that i have not used my legs properly for two weeks, muscles feel either unused, or so over used trying to compensate for my over tense stance when moving, that everything feels ready to 'pull'......please dont write me off for mayhem though, i will 100% be there, and if the current rate of recovery on the pills continues, i will ride!.....my training regime however has been.....erm....lacking?.... :D
