'99 Orange Ms Isle rebuild time!

After breaking my Specialized Avatar saddle at the trail centre Sunday, I was about 6 miles away from the car so my quads got a workout!

I too bought a Cro-Mo Charge Spoon!

Charge Spoons are great saddles - I use the cromo ones because they're cheap (if it dies in a crash, I won't be too upset). Not only this, but they are also pretty damn comfy.

Which version of the Pikes did you get?

It says up there ^^^

they're pile 351s. Hopefully have them in my mits on Wednesday.

They've had the internal floodgate mod done so as tuneable as any other pike. Bit pointless without it. No air to play with but should be ample for my needs.

Good stuff. Where did you manage to find them?

Sorry about asking the same question...took a long time to write post because I got distracted so missed being beaten to it! If you get them on Wednesday, is that the bike pretty much done?

Found them on pinkbike. They weren't on there a couple of days ago when I looked so just got lucky I guess.

I've got quite a lot turning up this week...

Front forks (Wednesday hopefully),
Charge spoon,
Crank brothers free ride headset,
Slx cranks (double and bash ring) including bb,
Chain,
Casette,
New grips.

Think that's everything.

Friend at work has offered me some DMR moto tyres (2.1s) for a sensible price which may be a good tyre to start commuting on.

Then just need to strip the frame and Get that cleaned up and painted :D

We're getting there today I received...

Rock shox pikes,
Post mount to IS mount bracket,
SLX double and bash chainset (with external BB),
Crank brothers free ride headset,
New chain,
New cassette,
rather bright lights ready to start commuting.

Going to be a busy weekend!
