The Park BBT-7 has multiple contact points that hit the lockrings just right. They make a different tool (all silver) that doesn't work nearly as well. You may wanna spray it with a little penetrating oil first, you won't believe how easily it comes out
The cups come out easy with a spanner tool, can't remember if I used green or red but i can check if u are on the verge of buying one.
