I knowledge of road bikes is limited to say the least! But when I was offered this old Falcon Sprint Race 10??? for a pint I had to have it. It was in a right state but after a few hours of scrubbing, cleaning looks alright!
Anyone know anything about it? I presume it was fairly low end when it was new. The frame does say hand built in England and seems of a fair quality.
Now just to decide what to do with it as I will never ride it!

Blimey, that's worth at least a gallon of ale not a pint! Good one, looks really tidy.

I worked for a bike shop in the 70's and we sold a fair number of Falcon bikes.......the rep was Billy Holmes the ex pro.

I liked them as they were screwed together much better than the equivalent Raleigh and had better kit, so much easier to PDI and set-up.

I actually had a Falcon frame made for me :)

Trying to think back as that bike was a bit after my time but I would have expected it to have the tubing material on a sticker just above the down-tube levers.

Anyway it's well worth a pint :)
