Those with aol email addresses should not expect to recieve any email from retrobike.co.uk mail addresses - this includes all forum related email.

The issue has arisen since the server move. I can see no problems with mail setting on the retrobike side, however I have asked our ISP to look into it.

If someone with an aol account could mail them and ask that they look into this issue that would be appreciated.

I'll get an email off to them tonight, because as you know only too well, this problem is driving me round the bend!

Indeed. Me too, esp now I'm getting the retrobike inbox filled with rejection mails from AOL along with people mailing me about their accounts

quite a common thing with aol .

a lot of websites ( and not only porn ones  ) specify that you may have trouble with their emails if you have an aol adress .

Ok, email to AOL sent. Copy below:

I use the website retrobike.co.uk, and its online forum. I used to receive email updates from them of new forum postings etc, however since their server was updated, aol now blocks emails from this site. All members of the retrobike forum who use aol are experiencing this problem.
The retrobike inbox is also filled with aol rejection emails.
Retrobike are checking things their end too.
Please can you look into this.
Thanks

Arseoles Off Line  Just rubbish.

I was with them for more than 10 years and they were excellent . Rang them on a first of january at midnight to get a new modem and it was in the post 3 days later .

In fact. I've had it with it all. On 16th no web at home. no computer. I'll use works pc and works library pc to go on line for e-mail and this site. I didn't get a computer till 03 so time to turn the clock back. Last weekend I did some thing odd. I phoned round my local bike shops found one that had a USE Carbon seat pin 350 long asked them to hold it for me and then cycled over and paid (virtual money) collected cycled home and fitted. If i had gone on line I would got one for £15 less but had to wait till tuesday/Wednesday then had to collect from the post office in the morning. So which is better?
OK I sold my ti seat pin for £20 on this site. I'll settle for no computer at home. Less stress & I read more books. Plus save £20 on no ISP.
I can live without a computer.

Update:

My email has been passed through 2 different 'support' departments of AOL so far, technical support, customer support, but none have taken ownership of the problem.

I will keep on at them
