June 2012 BoTM 'Dead End Special' - Nominations Please

Can someone can tell my how an elevated chainstay monocoque carbon-fibreglass near 30lb full rigid bike is NOT a "Dead End" design?

If it's not dead end, there are flaws and loopholes in this month's category... ;)

there are some seriously screwed up ideas of whats "dead end" in this thread


is it still 2 pic max, or is that per page?

Nobody in their right mind would seriously make a bike like mine again. There was a short lived period of drum braked MTBs around 1985/6 but they were heavy and the brakes are shite (they improve your downhill riding though).

My entry this month is just for fun.

meh, however you wanna justify it. I was hoping/expecting to see a bunch of oddballs, not a buncha normal looking bikes with a dated component here or there

didn't think the rule re # of pics was open to interpretation too
