Hi, hoping someone can help me out. I'm looking for some forks to replace the Bomber mx comps on my Kona Kikapu. The Bombers are ok but seem heavy, not particularly smooth and quite noisy even after a service.
I would need forks with 100mm travel, 9mm qr dropouts and disk brake mounts. I ride a small frame so as long as the steerer is over 170mm it will be fine.
Don't mind if the forks are a bit older (it is a 7 year old bike) and a bit of cosmetic wear is fine but must be mechanically sound as I can't afford any parts/servicing right now. Not massively clued up on forks having just got back into mountain bikes so any suggestions or advice welcome.
For any roadies out there i'm selling this bike and would consider a part exchange http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=205148
Thanks in advance.
