Need help with old raleigh

Looks like an old Late 70s Carlton, by then a Raleigh in all but name only. Possibly a repainted Criterium or Pro Am 12. Could come up very nice indeed. W prefix on the frame number signified a Worksop built frame, although I believe this was used still after Carlton closed in 1981.
 
yeah the bloke i got it from said it was a raleigh carlton but after reading on here there raleigh bought out carlton i just want to find out 100% what it is and bring it back to its former glory

Is there anything else picture wise i can take to find more clues??
 
The Only Carlton with cut out lugs around that time I can think of is the Criterium......... Would have had weinmann brakes and likely a sugino Raleigh badged chainset and Raleigh badged SunTour mechs.
