Cheap brooks saddles and bar tape at halfords

Sorry if in the wrong place or already mentioned, Halfords have 20% off all bike parts till wednesday, most parts are a bit expensive but good prices on brooks saddles and tape. Web orders only but can do collect from store, got myself a new track pump

I never ever imagined I would say this about Halfords but they are actually not bad prices for Brooks saddles. £65 for a Standard B17 in Black. Take off 20% and that's £52. Not bad at all as most places they are now £70.

I worked one out at 48 quid and only 27 for brown tape. Never seen them that cheap anywhere else. Shame ive already bought mine.

My brooks bar tape came from them originally as even normally priced they were cheapest, and credit where it's due delivery was without problem.

I collected the track pump on Saturday, got a text telling me it was ready, top marks for service this time, shame their service is let down in other areas.

There's also 4% cashback at the moment if you go through Quidco, bringing the price down a bit more.

I bought one recently too, about 10 weeks ago. Got a Brown B17 from SJS whilst they were still £46. I don't think they realised for a long time that everyone else had put their prices up. I only put it on my bike this weekend as I was waiting for the better weather so it didn't get rained on. I'd had my last one 28 years so I expect this one will see me out!

Blimey even better!

I put mine on only yesterday also, as I only finally got round to putting proofide on it the weekend. It looks great, it's transformed the look of the bike. It's also the first time I've sat on a brooks, :shock: I imagine mine will last some time as I'm not a high mileage rider.

I'd post a pic but it might upset peoples retro sensibilities as its a new build
