Well, managed 6 miles today as a first. 29ers are superb, never ridden one prior to this, better photo's of the finished article tomorrow! ;)

I love the blue and the brown of the brooks.

What do you think of the light?

It's a Niterider Minewt, had it a few years now and it is brilliant. Easy to attach and fairly discrete! I'd recommend one definitely.

Great looking bike and really tasty parts on it, love the wheels

Only thing that jars is these new fangled integrated headsets, ruins the flow at the front imho but really nit picking.

Any more ride reports?

Nah, not at the moment, dreaded inverted disc has reared it's ugly head again! Hopefully back out on it soon.

One comment I will make is I wish I had got just the large frame rather than the XL. I'm 6'3" with 32" inside leg with a longer torso, everything pointed towards the XL frame, I couldn't get a demo frame to ride, so going off the judgement of Salsa and Charlie the Bikemonger I got the XL. I can barely get my feet flat on the floor when stood over the cross bar, this despite being pretty diligent using bike frame calculators, online help, e mail etc. it's fine once I'm on the perch, just wouldn't want to be sliding off the saddle in a hurry  thankfully already got 2 children

I do love the look of the black Karate Monkeys though, very stealthy.
