These are so stupidly expensive, I've just bought a set of 8 speed for my Dunwich Dynamo bike. I can't work out why they're so much though, is it because they're for TT?

for the most part they are quite expensive. im happy for one in any condition, friction would be ideal. i want it for a road bike i use every day. i am slowly setting it up in a way that will work the best for me. one bar end shifter for the rear mech, 50t single chain-ring. i think this will help me get the best out of my ride.
