It's hard to tell without seeing it in the flesh but I the paint doesn't look too bad?

Looks nice so far, should look great when finished fella. Certainly a bike i'd like one day.

It looks ok in the photos but i like my projects to be imaculate. I'll get around to it one day providing someone can match the colour. It would look great with a new paint job, decals and i think i'll get some braze-on for V brakes.

Hi mate, first of all congratulations for your Lava Dome!

I am trying to finish mine and it is taking long time due to minor parts which are difficult to get.. Kona seatpost clamp and bottom cable guide..

I have a question: your frame (as mine) have 2 bolts on the rear chain stay tubes (one on each side). Checking the 1994 Kona brochure, there aren't.. Checking here (RetroBike) there are with or without that bolts..

Do you know why 1994 Lava Dome are in some cases with and without that bolts??

Cheers and thanks in advance..

Thanks Jacoborf
I can't help i'm afraid.
Regrettably i have sold the beautiful Lava Dome to do another project.
Good luck finding your parts
