Thought I'd post a pic of the stem adapter I machined up at work some years ago, to enable me to fit an 1-1/8" aheadstem to my Fuquay that runs a 1" threaded headset, this is the slightly beefier version that supported me across Mexico on an Exodus trip over ten years ago. It's machined from a piece of Dural for the body and the top can, and the expander bolt and wedge are off a Syncros Cattleprod.
