1991 Kona Lava Dome (& '93 Fire Mountain)

Retro Newbie
Hi all. Great forum.
Newbie, so I thought a proper introduction was in order, so here's my '91 Lava Dome.
I bought it new way-back-when (still *mostly* stock, and obviously the OEM Drive: A & B tires are long gone); a great intro to MTB.
And still serves me well as a commuter bike.

Lovely really amazing condition. I use my 92 Cinder to ride to work everyday so know how they feel on the road with slicks :)

lovely!....nice to see a daily user in such good condition....i have a '95 cinder cone that i use with skinny slicks, and i love it's responsiveness....welcome to retrobike!.... :D

'93 Kona Fire Mountain

...and my wife's '93? Fire Mountain (with original Kona Drive: A & B tires)

Thanks for looking and responding.
You guys pretty well sum up my thoughts on these ol' things.

^^^ pretty sure that's a 94 with those graphics. Top condition by the looks of it.

Thanks for that, al. I had my suspicion if it were a '93. She bought it new when we started dating, quickly ditched the Race Light saddle & grips, and still only rode it a handful of times.
