Actually I've pulled out of the free beerfest trip to sweden in favour of doing the etape, so you'll probably think I'm mad Gaz.

I did a similar thing for the Torridon trip too, I must be getting old

This will be my only road race, no interest in any other routes other than the Fred Whitton and it will be a while before I'm ready for that. Once the Etape is done my road bike will be my commuter,training and occasional summer ride bike. I like off-road too much.

I'll get to Sweden at some point and years back I dated a Swede, nice enough but not the leggy dreamland you'd imagine, they like their chocolate.
