"Cilo (acronym for Charles Jan Lausanne Oron) was a Swiss manufacturer of bicycles that filed for bankruptcy in 2002. The facilities were situated in the small village of Romanel-sur-Lausanne, near the city of Lausanne in the west part of Switzerland. The name was very famous between the end of the 1940's and the end of the 1980's.
Cilo co-sponsored a European cycling team along with Atari and Ciclolinea in 1992. Many world championships and grand tours were won on Cilo bikes."
