My 94 lava dome..

Bought off the bay in pretty bad shape but reckoned worth saving..

Drivetrain all cleaned up well(new chain/rear mech)

Brakes/tyres/post/old worn flite she's ready to roll !

I Know the blue post ain't to everyones taste but i had it lying about..

Reckon a silver o-beam would be sweet if they came in 400mm ? Anyone have one 27.2 ?

I'ts good to bring an old bike back into use

I've got the same - rides great. Think it's a 27.0 s/post you need (before you rush off & buy a 27.2)

I'm turning into a serial whinger about canti straddle hangers, but you need to sort them out - front and back - those hangers need to be lower and the angle of the dangle a lot less narrow.

This is not an aesthetic whinge, it's a whinge about setting your brakes up optimally.

It's a 27.2 seatpost

My 95 kula is a 27.0.. Yup Hangers were duly
Lowered after inaugural test ride due to brakes being rubbish

They slow me down now

Well, shows how much I know - you're quite right. it is 27.2! Pleased to discover that as I've now fitted an in-line post I had in the drawer thinking it was the wrong size. Reduces the stretch a bit & 13 grams weight saving - result!
