Rear shock choices on suspension design.

Ive bought a Muddy fox rock n roll Ultimate which im modifying a little. The bike has a Fox Alps 5r shock, which Im looking to change. The thing is I have two choices of shock. A Fox Float RC/RL old standard valved one or a Fox Float RP23 with the 3 position propedal. The suspension design is very similar to Konas of old (Manomano, king kikapu, uhu, etc), question is would the RP23 be better for that design because of the propedal? Is this design prone to being very active? alot of bob? Or should I stick to the RC/RL standard valved? The MF was bought at a bargain price, Ive now nearly completed the build (or rebuild) and the shock is the last part.

Can we have some pictures please? I just want to see it.

And what length is the alps? I always thought most of them looked pretty short (155mm?)

The alps is 152mm, bike has changed abit since these pics!

I think thats a faux bar? If so theyre pretty good for bob i think.

Most like the rp23's though.
Not sure they come in that length though?
